ignition problems.. cant get to 18 degrees... HELP??

Default ignition problems.. cant get to 18 degrees... HELP??

My distributer is pushed all the way back... or from over the passenger fender view all the way back to the left.. and i still am about 20-22 degrees.. i cant get to the 14-18 area.. what do i do?

you have to jump the harness first...do like you are going to check an engine code and put a paper clip in teh harness while the key is in on position...then start it and set your timing...unplug the paper clip and timing is set

i have done that.. but the distributer wont go any farther back.. to get to the ajustment i neeed

i have also had my inake(stock) cam put back in... soo the distributer.. could have been moved.. i have also replaced the cap and rotor.. would any of this have to do with the distributer being in the wrong place? or something.. or needing to be taken off and put back on

try installing the timing belt again

does that sound right i would be getting tooo rich or too lean lights.. (CEL) with my timing advanced way to far
