Ignition issues after unknown pop.
-I rendered the Ignition switch on a 94 Civic cx to be the culprit of a randomly dying car. With little time and money I decided to bypass the switch altogether via bringing ACC,IG1,IG2 together on a toggle switch and a momentary contact switch for the starter. The issue came when I ran the White wire (power source) to both the toggle and the momentary switch. Initially, In turning on the toggle, all systems were go. the fuel pump came on dash-lights, etc. However, when the starter button was hit, I heard a small pop from what sounded like the engine bay, accompanied by no electronics, at all.
-The crazy part now is that I get electronics intermittently but as soon I attempt to draw any further power (headlights, etc.) all systems die followed by no response.
-I do understand that splitting the power to both switches was a dumb idea and clearly caused the headaches. When I get systems back online I plan to run the starter switch as a separate entity.
-I've checked all fuses, nothing seems out of order.
=Im not much of a wire-chaser but any input would be appreciated.

But first, restore that wiring nightmare you caused.
Nice, Grumblemarc.
-I do plan to have all back to speck but transportation is of the utmost. The ignition switch is on the way from Canada and about 5 days out.
-I have the power wire disconnected and away from the starter wire.
-Does anyone else have any leads as to what might be causing the electrical intermittence?
Again, Thank you.

My guess is that the toggle and momentary switchs you are using can not handle the current.
Splitting the power lead. [white] to the toggle and momentary should not be a problem, the stock ign. switch does that.
Having ACC,IG1,IG2 all together may be a problem, as the stock switch cuts power to ACC and IGN.2 when cranking to start.
Because of the small pop from the engine bay and a loss of all power when system is loaded up, "attempt to draw any further power" I suggest you check/redo your main grounds, [batt. to chassis, chassis to engine. 94
