ignited push button starter on a 4th gen civic
for some reason, i feel compelled to convert my 4g4d civic's ignition system to keyless push button starting.
what i would like to do is have a switch that has 2 positions: off, and ready to start.
when i flip the switch into the ready to start position, i want to be able to press a button which makes the car start. does anyone have any idea how to do this?
i bought the car for $20, and it's just going to have hell brought upon it anyway, so i don't care if it's easier to steal.

haha, u bought the car for $20 and want to throw a button on there huh?
push ur belly button and fart in the intake, and that button should be good enough for ya....cuz u have both the air and the gas, all u need is a lighter and u have urself a push button.
my friend has the custom 'pull my finger' engine starter, his is very faulty though.
