Default IDOL problem...need help!!!!!!!!!

hey i gotta a 93 civic coupe wit a d15b. some times when my car is warm the idol jumps up and down from 500rmp-1500rpm. any one know what is causing this? and will i do damage to my motor if not fixed?

It is spelled "Idle"

Search for "Idle surge" and you'll get the info you need.

you will need to clean the IACV or bleed the cooling system, or adjust the FITV. depending on which one it is and what type of intake manifold you've got.

I bet you didnt find **** when you searched for IDOL wtf A vaccum leak can also cause that, but thats sypmtom is usually at all temps not just when it is warm

check your tps, vaccum lines, map sensor, take your intake off to check your fitv and iacv. let it idle and cover one hole up, then the other.
