Idle is funny and check engine light comes on
Ok so we milled the head on this baby, ported and polish and 3 angle valve job. Now we have some problems. The car lopes at idle which is normal because of the bigger cams we have...now the problem is...the car idles fine at start but then after a minute we get a check engine light to come on and the rpm climb up to 2500 and stay there...if you drive it for a while the rpm idle back down to normal but the check engine light stays on....we have everything on dead top center but timing is off by about 7 degrees...so the question is...how do we get it to proper timing, why does it idle so high up and the check engine light comes on?
