idle control system low
I pulled my engine this weekend to do my clutch and flywheel. put it back in and started it up. i baught a code reader and got p1508, idle control system low i believe it was exactly. any ideas? some help? thanks alot. oh and everything went smoothly for my first time doing anything this big. its a 99 civic dx with 99 gsr for more info on the engine.
Okay.....are you saying you have a low idle?
If so, unplug IACV, adjust idle screw, let engine run until fan comes on.
Then shut off, clear code and plug in the IACV. Turn engine on and leave alone until fan comes on again.

For what it's worth... I think it's telling you, thats it's getting a low voltage reading, for one reason are another. Try checking the connections and grounds.
