im having issues with my car, i've done an h22 swap in it.. and its been running fine for the last 3 months. however.. now when i pull the key out when running... it stays running.. not deiseling (because EVERYTHING still gets power).. i've replaced the ignition switch and its contents and still doesnt help. I've pulled the dash to check if there is any issues with the wiring and tested each plug under the dash by pulling the ground cable on the battery.. and unplugging 1 connector and putting the ground cable back on (to see if my fuel pressure kicks up.. when i connect the battery cable.. my car automatically acts as if it is in the RUN position on the ignition)...
its been a few days and now im testing under the hood... i'm using a test light and when i tested certain wires.. i heard crackling from the distributor... so i pulled the cap off and found that the crackling was coming from the ICM... could the ICM ACTUALLY BE WHATS KEEPING MY CAR FROM SHUTTING OFF?
