IAT mod????
Anyone know what an IAT mod is? I've been told that you can install a switch that while it is depressed, will not allow fuel to be cut off during shifts allowing for faster acceleration. If anyone knows anything about it, please reply.
IAT does stand for Intake Air Temp....i dont think it will do anything that you describe no matter what you do to that. It's like saying "if i add more water to my fish tank will my tv work?"
Maybe you can clear us up on what you acronymn IAT stands for.
However, not cutting fuel between shifts? This does what, lets you go over redline? Or perhasp flood the engine with fuel, and kill the cat eventually? or bog the car cause of the ultra rich state?

I'm not sure what it means but my friend set it up on his 93 probe and he said it works well and the acceleration is faster....I have no clue. I just want a cheap way to go faster, you know.
Sounds like he did something to a mass air flow or something, the only mod i know of for an iat is what jr does on their jrsc kit, they run a relay from the iat to make the ecu think the intake air is colder than it actually is, and therefore run more fuel
