Default iacv sensor

i've put 3 different iacv sensors on my motor. and it still idles from 1k to 3k rpm and the back down to 1k. the motor runs fine when its not plugged up so i know there no vaccum leak. i got a 97 ex civic and i was reading up that theres 2 different types of plugs for the obd2a. theres a 2 wire plug and a 3 wire plug. the plug that hooks up to the iac is a 2 wire. is there any way i can fix it. please help me out

First, it's not supposed to idle 'fine' when the IACV is unplugged. It should idle real low, almost stalling. Look up how to set your base idle for your year/model.

The 2-wire vs. 3-wire business isn't just the connector. I think it's a different kind of control signal coming from the ECU, so you'll want to get the kind of IACV that your ECU is made for.
