I see this thread involves theory so...
I have a question, my civic is hitting mid 16's at the track with some stock wheels with hardly no thread, a few mods in the tranny and basic bolt ons as well, how much time should some, 15" spoon wheels with drag radials in the front, should my car drop?

Yikes. If I had to take a complete guess, I would say no more than a second with the additions you mentioned, if you did a 7k clutch side-step. Get more power, not more traction.
