Default I need wiring HELP

I have this plug left over after putting my dash back in and i can't seem to find its home. Heres my problem. i turn the key on but i don't start the car, and nothing happens. Usually the check engine light comes on and you can hear the fuel pump presserize the system. Nothing happens. Also when theres no key in the ignition the SRS light is on and my e brake light is on (The ebrake is on though) Im lost on what to do. Im hoping this plug will solve my problem.

I can try to help you, I have a few harnesses here from a few cars... what type of harness is it? What are the details, is this for your 92-95 civic? Is the harness for OBD 1?

i'm asuming it hangs from your driver side, if so, i believe it connect to the back of your fuse box. Top right hand (towards middle) of the fuse box. Take down your fuse box and check it out. There's like 4 or so plugs that connect to the back and i think that is one of them.

hmm.. sorry, I dont think thats it All of the green connectors that plug into the back of the fusebox are all dual contact ones, while the picture illustrates a single row of contacts. I can get a picture if ya want )

At first I thought the plug was for the maintenence box, but that one has less wires (and different colors!)

The dead pedal means the car is not a DX model, I know they came in LS teg's but not sure about different Civics

Is the problem a result of dash swap?

Edit - OOps... I got halfway out to the car when I noticed you said you found what plug it was and dammit, you beat me to my post!

Sounds like a ground problem (hehe, when isnt it a ground problem )

Dumb advice, but go along your harness and check for loose grounds / connectors. Check the connections at the main relay. Use a multimeter and check for (+)Batt voltage where it is supposed to be, and use the continuity check to find check the grounds at the connectors.

I dont have an EX but I can go check my harness for that connector. Lemme make sure I ID'd it correctly... looks like ~7 wires

I will go see if I can find it!!

no i figured it out. the terminal for the starter wire was touching the starter case and grounding out. Fixed that up and it works perfect
