Default i need to replace a wire in the wire clip!!!!!!!!!!!!!

basically wat the title says. how would i go about taking a wire out of the wire clip and reinsalling a new wire??

they sell pin out tools the insert into the clip and release the wire, i had a teacher that was an old audi and porsche tech that had lots of them. not sure where to get one though

edit try contacting someone at allied elec. they should beable to help you out

Sorta like a little spring-loaded barb that holds it in. Usually you can use a tiny jeweler's screwdriver to unhook it. The tool B20TDC2's talking about just goes in & unhooks that prong; much easier. Trying to root around with a little screwdriver is a PITA.

find a hobby shop in your area that sells brass tubing and buy a piece that will just slip over the terminal. push it in hard until it bottoms or you feel it sort of snap and you will be able to pull the wire out the back. should cost about a dollar.

I noticed that that connector has hinges on it. Some don't require an extraction tool, depending on the style. Might take a few minutes for you to see how it comes apart, but open it up and see if that helps at all. You're going to have to do that anyway when/if you do use the extraction tool.
