I need ome Tech info please!!!
Hello to everyone! I have a quick question. I'm not very familiar with Integra engines, so I come to you, in search of answers. My friend told me about a 91 Integra but, he doesn't know much about it. You know, head about it from a friend of a friend of a friend. Anyway, all we know is that it's a 5 speed. My question is, (1) what kind of engines were offered (2) are they any good (3) will the drivetrain fit into my 91 CRX. Any info will be greatly appriciated. Happy Holidays to all.
91 integras came with Ls B18a engines only I believe. They are like 140 horse and a good base engine. They will bolt into your crx with a mount kit. try http://www.Hasport.com . You will also need a shift linkage and axles. Wiring is cake on a Si but a little harder on a Dx
Thanks alot. I bought my CRX recently. It didn't run because all the exhaust valves were burned(1.5). So I rebuilt the head, drove it two weeks, long trips and daily commute; put on about 800 miles. Then on Monday morn, shifted into 2nd gear and BLAM! At first I thought I poped the clutch, until I saw the oil slick. #1 rod came out the block, NUT it still will crank and run(leaking oil of course)Anyway, I just didn't have a clue to what typs of engines will work, at a reasonable price. I like the car, and just assume and guess it would be harder to sell as is, or put a VTEC or something similar into it. I would be buying the entire car, so the parts aren't the problem. Just want the fastest and easiest conversion. I appriciate the info.
