ok i have my B18b swap in w/ my P72 ecu that i chipped using Uberdata 1.70. i import'd the P75 .bin and disabled all the vtec things(or atleast i think i did!!). and i disabled o2 sensor, closed loop, ELD, and speed limiter(just in case there was one.)

i am throwing code 21(it has to do with vtec. but i don't have my manual in front of me to list what it is exactly.). and obviously i don't have vtec w/ my B18b.

so my question is:

since i have the closed loop disabled. does it even matter that i'm throwing that code?
(since my ecu should run like there isn't a code being thrown. since i disabled the closed loop. or i could very well be misunderstanding all this )


i post'd this on Uberdata's forum but for reason anyone that knows what there doing on there is NEVER on there!!! i did post my .bin on there. so anyone could look at it to see if i DID disable all the vtec things!! my username is "KAOS" on Uberdata. i post'd it in the 'newbie Q/A'.

i think i found the problem. i didn't disable 'VTP'. which i thought did something totally diffirent!!
