I need help with OBD2-OBD1 conversion!!!
Ok, 1st off, I wanted to say I did do a search, but I kept getting stuck with the same questions over and over again.... and it's all about the dizzy. Im going to lay out my questions, flame if you'd like, point me to the right thread...and
.
Stock Setup: 97 Civic DX (D16y7)
Future Setup: 97 Civic DX with CRVtec OBD1
Questions???: Will a b20b obd2 Dizzy work? Or will it be easier to use my b16 OBD1 Dizzy, and just splice the plugs etc.?
Fuel Injectors. Will I need to change those? I have a set of h22a fuel Inj. I would like to use, and they are obd1. Will I have to swap the plugs? If so, can I just pull the pins out of my stock injector clip, and plug them into a obd1 injector clip?
Will I have to change anything else that I am missing? I already have my p30 ecu. OBD2-OBD1 jumper harness. B16a3 head, with stock intake manifold and stock exhaust manifold. B20b block. Anything else? that I need for OBD1 conversion. Thank you.!
P.S. Sorry for the stupid question, but Im sick of getting different answers, and decided to make my own topic about this.

-- a b20 dizzy will fit on a vtec head, but you'll have to cut 1 or 2 of the mounting legs off, and frankly, its a pretty ghetto setup. Over time it will go bad and run like ish. An OBD1 dizzy would work and you'd have to repin and apply an OBD2 dizzy plug to it. It will take some work. If you can, I suggest you try and trade the OBD1 B16 dizzy for an OBD2 B16/B18C dizzy.

-- no, OBD1 injectors will not plug n' play with your OBD2 engine's wire harness. you'll have to adapt your OBD1 injector plugs onto your engine's wire harness, or simply find yourself a set of OBD2 b-series injectors. I believe your stock OBD2 civic injectors are the same spec as integra injectors.

You will also have to repin your three wire IACV to a two wire IACV. From what I remember it was just moving one pin over like two slots on the ecu side. Also the alternator plugs are different between OBD2 and OBD1 cars, but I'm assuming you will be using the OBD2 B20 alternator. If your using OBD1 alternator you can just splice the plug into your harness and be good to go.
ok, so i need to change out the dizzy with a OBD2 b16/b18c? will I that have to change anything out? will I still need to cut and splice the wires? or will I be fine and just plug and play?
On the injectors, I will be fine just running my OBD2 D16y7 injectors for now? correct? until I can find some obd2 injectors from a bigger motor?

-- yes, you need an OBD2 B-series VTEC dizzy if you want the dizzy to be plug n' play and pain in the *** free. You will NOT need to cut+splice any wires at the dizzy, its all plug n' play when you use your civic's engine harness and an OBD2 B-dizzy.
But you will need to do the IACV fix as aw1234dude mentioned.

-- yes, you can fully reuse your Y7 injectors on your B-series engine for the time being.
