Default I need a diagnosis!

It just came about a day or so ago, but my car has developed a new problem. Whenever I either let off throttle on the highway, go through turns, or sometimes in between shifts, I hear a clicking thud sound coming from the front of the car. It seems to happen with every wheel revolution, and will happen when the tranny's in gear or out. It will go away when speeds go below 60, but with a turn, even going at parking lot speeds, you can hear it. Could it bethe CV's?

Yup. You trouble shot it yourself congradulations.

Now if you plan on making your engine a power house go to http://www.driveshaftshop.com and get yourself some stronger axles. If you just want refurbs they sell them too and see if you can get them cheaper than what the shop you are going to.

Or http://www.sohfast.com sells axles for 65 shipped. They are used but in good condition. What usually makes them go bad is the fact that the grease escaped from the boots that cover them.....make it a habit to check them everytime you have the oil changed.

replace the drive shaft with a new/rebuilt one....less trouble than trying to rebuild one and a LOT cheaper as well

It is bad to drive on them yes......but, you do plan on swapping them out correct?

Ashamed to admit this but, I have had a bad CV joint for about 8 months now. (long story....her car, she didn't tell me it had problems....yadda, yadda, yadda)
