I realize that in your haste, you may have not thought to type in a search. So I'll walk you through it;
Click on the link below, type in "vtec AND solenoid", select "archive" and hit "Return".

https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch

Your answer is there. The search function is a beautiful thing!

JDM has no oil pressure switch which USDM ECUs need to see.
Otherwise identical.

dude, how exact is this question?

yes, there are different solenoids.

pretty simple stuff.

the archives tell you all about ALL thre different solenoids...

sorry if you didnt ask a very clear question, but there are TWO whole pages of search results on the topic,

maybe you were too lazy.

Easy there Joey. You need to get rid of the attitude. We were rather courteous in our original replies compared to how some people tell others to do a search. Your original question HAS been discussed & answered in the archives, thus our direction to you toward that resource. If you meant to ask something other than what you originally posted, then you could have calmly stated so & we all could have went from there. However, your original reply to our replies was not a correction of your own original ****-up, but was a flame, calling us ******** for pointing you in the right direction. This, of course, was asking for the kind of response that Tinkerbell provided. And at that point, you deserved what you got. Suck it up, take what you asked for, and next time, don't ask for something that you don't want.

To get back on-topic, Billy-Bad-*** here, still needs to know if a D-series solenoid can be used on a B-series head. I can't say for certain & I don't feel like looking for the answer so if someone knows off-hand & we could let this thread die, that would be great.

i think i did that...i'm not lazy...i'm not flaming....ppl insinuate ****...then the flamingo kid started to flame....i admited my wrong...corrected it...asked the proper question i should have asked in the first place...
all this information is available here on H-T sometimes someone cant put together the correct phrase to put into the "search" box...then everyone else tells them to not be "lazy" and search...maybe they did..and couldn't find anything...so then they post...and everyone jumps their **** about searching...i searched...couldn't find the proper answer...which again i admited my fault in the question answered.....and posted.
its simple don't be ******** to someone who puts on a post...and tell them to search....be more helpful...if you know the answer then tell them or redirect them to someone who can....i'm not trying to be an *** to anyone here...lord knows i'm not perfect...and i definitely don't know it all...but if i need to know something...can't find the info...i'm gonna ask....better than most "newbies" who do **** wrong...*** something up...then ask all the questions later...we're all here for the same reasons...treat ppl alittle nicer...you never know when they'll have something or know something that you need....

sorry if i pissed anyone off...didn't mean to...but don't insinuate **** either , and thanks again to all those who were helpful....

Nothing was insinuated, and no one was in the least bit ignorant to you until you opened your ********** & spit **** on us. I gave you very precise instructions on what to do with the search because I know that it's not always easy to navigate. We were trying to be helpful & how did you react? Our posts may have had a hint of sarcasm in them, but you didn't know that for SURE when you called us ******** in your second post, (before you edited it), and you STILL don't know that for sure even now. Had you reacted amiably, we would have done what we could to help you further address your concern. Instead, you see what's happened.

Once again, I'm going to try to move on & continue to try to help you. Have you found your answer? If so, let this **** die.
