Default i have a question

i have a 91crx and planning to buy a B20 vtec, can anyone tell me how much this suppose to run. i just have no idea how much it would cost. and would it be better if i get this kind or zc w/turbo?
sorry i'm new with honda's, just trying to work on something.

I have seen prices range from $850 to $950 for the b20 blocks not including shipping and without a vtec head ... they are a a commodity at junkyards, i.e. you can;t find them ...

many ppl adapt the dohc vtec head on them and it makes gobs of tq and decent hp ... evne better after rebuilt with higher compression pistons. In terms of wallet weight, the zc/turbo complete swap will prolly come out less than a b20/vtec and crx mount kit ... but it depends on the budget you have. I generally buy the blocks and make complete swaps including modded shift linkages, programmed ecu and the complete swap with mount kit to sell. It then is a bolt in drivetrain ... but my prices are up there based on the mods on the motor ... I generally sell a fll built b20/vtec swap with mount kit and all for around $6000 installed ... also many things are generally overlooked, such as clutch, header, distributor, new timing belt and other things like that.
