Default I have no clue.

What exactly do I need to lower my car about 1 to 1.5 inches? I have no idea when it comes to suspension. I have been told to go with Eibach, but I don't know what I need exactly. I don't want to lower my car too much and lose performance and handling, but I would also like to get rid of some wheel gap. Is 1 to 1.5 inches too much of a drop? What is a camber kit, and would I have to get one with a drop of 1 to 1.5 inches? Where should I begin? Any help on this subject would greatl be appreciated.

Thanks

1" to 1.5" is a mild drop, so all you'll need are the lowering springs. You can pick up a set of Eibach lowering springs for about $150, and have them installed pretty cheaply as well (it's simple for a shop to do this). If you wanted to do a 4" drop that would be too much, but 1.5" is about perfect. Most people seem to go 1.75".

Have you ever seen cars so lowered that their wheels looked crooked from the rear?

../=/.................\=\
./=/...................\=\
/=/......................\=\

That would be an extreme example of bad camber (as in with a 4" drop). A camber kit will allow you to have a lowered car without the unfortunate side effect of bad camber. If you go with a 1" drop, you probably won't really even notice the camber change, though suspension shops don't like to do alignments on cars that don't have 0 camber.

Eibach Pro-kit will give you the drop you're looking for. You must buy a set of new shocks to go with them because you'll blow your stock ones quickly.

KYB AGX, Koni Yellow, or Tokico Illuminas are a good match.

Eibach pro-kits are what you are looking for.

Your car is new, so the stock shocks would be okay for a while. By than you would probably want to get performance shocks anyways.

Default So...

...if you lower your car from stock height, suspension parts will wear out faster? Do performance shocks last longer than stock shocks? So basically I will need springs (Eibach kit), and new shocks (KYB AGX, Koni Yellow, or Tokico Illuminas)?

Thanks for your help.
