I have a few questions.
1.)I have a 95 Integra and the car jumps hard when shifting from P to R then when it goes into neutral and drive the car jumps hard again. Car shifts fine and sounds queit. Anyone have any ideas? Could it be the engine mounts or transmission mounts? If so how much would they cost? Can I do it by myself?

2.)The steering sucks. Very hard steering. What could be wrong?

3.)Idle problem. When the car gets started and needs to get warmed up, The car idles up and down untill the car gets warm. I have no ideas what this could be. After it flauxates the car sits at about 750 rpms. Shifts fine and no abnormal sounds. Anyone have any ideas for this?

By the way the car has about 129,000 miles and is an auto tranny.

 

1. you need to decide if its in the trans or if you have worn mounts, time to have someone shift it while you examine all the mounts.

2, does the car have power steering?

3. try cleaning the throttle body to start, if that doesnt work, the car most likely needs an IACV, but try pulling it off and cleaning it first.
