My first ? is what engine code is the Acura CL motor. I heard that the new ones comming out this year will be manual tran. . So that brings me to my next ? do you think that the CL motor can fit in a 93 integra if so what kind of mounts would you need to buy. my last ? is could you put a v-tech head on it.

 

The new CL's are already out with the 6 speed and they're just sweet. Why would you want to put a CL motor in an integra? What kind of vtec head because the CL's already come with vtec.

 

if youre gonna do it, get a 3.0CL engine instead of the 2.2CL. A V6 teg would be the **** if the engine and tranny would fit. it would be expensive, though. you could probably get a mount kit from place racing, and maybe custom axles, too. just know youre lookin at a lot of money.

 

That would be killer, yea you can get the mounts from place racing. I also heard you can put it in the 88-91 CRXs and Civics. My friend put one in for $2000 and the mount kit was and additional $300. I know a guy that has a wrecked CL and he only wants $1500 cash for the engine swap. Call me at (214) 629-0401 and ask for Wu. Oh yea, that guy runs high 12s with that swap.

CL engine code is J32A. 3.2L V6 VTEC. CL Type-S is rated at 260 HP at the flywheel. The 6 speed manual trans is pretty nice to drive. This drivetrain in a Civic or Teg would be quick. If anybody does this swap, I would love to see it.

 

Especially with the supercharger on it ... I want to see some pics also...

im ok with a B18 turbo in a crx or hb. maybe in a couple years i might try some hard and expensive swaps like that. oh yea grsonthebottle i want to see some pics. of this for CL motor to fit in a crx or hb. that wouldnt be worth it. or maybe im wrong if so put up or shut up . not calling you a liar (yet)

and they are all VTEC
