What's up guys! But I just threw my built motor in my 2000 si and got everything hooked up and ready to go get tuned and I had lights in trunk and radio came on its just when I turned the key on I get nothing! No check engine light comes on or anything. I ran out of time and haven't checked to see if power is getting to ecu but i will try some things when i get back home but figured getting on here would save me time and hassle but I know I have power to the fuse box under the hood I tested it with a test light but here's my setup I did paint the engine bay base/clear, relocated my battery to my trunk and am running 0 gauge wire (i know some people will say thats way too much but its what i did) and am using a rywire harness... I cleaned the ground on my thermostat housing and bolted on the ground wire from the harness, and before I went and started scraping the paint off the frame for tranny to frame ground I ran a ground wire from tranny back to back of car and used jumper cables and grounded it to frame where it wasnt painted which I was told I could do if I didn't wanna mess with the paint in the engine bay until after I got it running and tuned because we were running out of time to get it going and to the tuner before the weekend for a car show in carlisle.... but anyways think it is probably a ground? I will double check the grounds when I get back home and I was thinking a faulty ecu? But it was working fine last time it was used but I can always throw it in another car and see if it works.. And I will also check fuses under dash if that could be it?. And I didn't hook up the harness for headlights and turn signals and all that but that shouldn't matter should it? And is there a mass ground by where the ecu is? But anyways just ask if you need anymore details and I know you guys will be able to help me out probably! Thanks I will appreciate the help!
