i dont know shit
Honestly......... im a 16 year old kid that loves cars but doesn't know **** and has done literally no hands on work.... im in the process of shopping for an early ninety's import which i plan to work on...... but how did u all start to learn ****..... my dad isn't a gear head at all but i wanna be one........ how should i learn!
the best way to learn is to get a helms, chilton, haynes book for your car and start to build up your car, hands on is the best and reading mags that talk about import tunning. good luck, gloria
steer clear of toilet paper like Import Tuner and other lame *** rags. There's too much fluff in those things to give you an accurate perspective into motor tuning and building.
Take an automotive class at your local college or tech center. PERIOD.
Edit: 16 year old? Do they offer automotive at your HS? They did with me, i took it for 2 years and now i do all my wrenchin.

I concur. Go to the auto stuff section and read about how all of that stuff works, then lurk around here to learn more stuff. Remember, almost every question you have has been answered before, so SEARCH before asking so you don't sound like a dumbass.
