Icon2 Hydro Clutch in Cable Trans will it work

I have the chance to get a new exedy clutch pressure plate and flywheel for cheap but it was bought for a d series hydro trans i have cable, so should i ge this clutch will it work??? Thank you.

I knew a guy long time ago that did it, the clutch GRABBED like a ***** BUT the clutch was so hard you almost had to lift yourself off of the seat to press it in!!!! I didnt think it was worth but he was always just throwing $hit together to see if it worked!!!! I cant remember how long it worked but it did.

IMO buy then sell it later for more money!!! GET THE RIGHT CLUTCH FOR YOUR CAR!!!! IMO

Not sure if hydro & cable splines are the same on D-Series but they defintiely are NOT on B-Series cable to hydro; which you make it happen but it would strip splines on the disc in no time.
