hummm, maybe one of the many sensors got moisture in it. I know that all the sensors are all waterproof, but im thinking it could be the map sensor. Wish I was there to help you target the problem. goodluck.

No, an engine must be running and the air filter submerged to hydro lock the engine.

Something got wet, and when it dries out it will be fine (unless something shorted out).

Cheers,
Roy

pull out all the spark plug wires and dry them out with a air blower. you probably got water down in the spark plug holes and it's causing the engine to misfire.

also check to see that the distributor cap isn't wet inside also.

When you wash an engine, do it with the engine running or run it immediately after. This will help evaporate the water before it has a chance to get into the sensors, fusebox or anything else.

naw.if ur engine cranks it shouldnt be hydrolock. it might be ur engine trying to burn off the extra water droplets that got in, just keep feeding it gas while ur trying to maintain the idle. do u have a open air filter? i remember it took me 1 gal of water to hydrolock my ****.
