Converting my VX back to stock. EGR valve is bad on the VX intake manifold. Bought a super clean HX manifold with about 60K miles on it for only$40.00!!! I would like to use this on my VX motor. Anyone for see any problems other then maybe wiring???

im guessing you are talking about the 96-98 hx with the d16 y5 in it and has the same intake manifold as the y8 i, not sure if its the same tb but im guessing it is. but it should work you might just have to plug off some vaccume line ports that obd1 does not need and you might even gain a couple ponies

 

Gaining horsepower isn't a concern but mos def a plus. Really can't spend a whole alot of money right now. I figured $40 on a complete IM in great shape was a steal. Im mainly concerned about the wiring of the EGR valve. Everything else I know will work.
