use the power to pump to turn on the relay, then run a 10 wire to the battery and ground the pump on a good point.

close to southcenter kent renton area. which wires is it the ones at the top of the floorboards under the carpet or the actual ones that are between the floorboard and gas tank. do you have a pic of yours? does it still turn on like factory or does it have a toggle switch to turn on?

I dont have picture of mine by i'll try to get some. Mine turns on like factory. The relay is turned on by the ecu. 10ga from battery to relay and 10ga from relay to fuel pump. Relay is mounted behind the passenger kick board. I'm going to do a dual walbro also but i will moving the relays behind the rear plastics.

Here is a link to an old thread of mine:

https://honda-tech.com/tech-misc-15/...t-1-a-3145027/

I have found that most Honda tanks have a very stout through wire connection made of brass. This can certainly handle much more power and I'll throw a few pics in to show you how easy it is to add 10 or 12 gage wires directly to the pump connection. The real problem is fuel delivery through the banjo bolt. I hope you upgrade that like in the thread link.

I hate to bump this old thread but i have everything done beside the ground on the fuel pump clip, if i do the 10g wire from the clip and ground it to the car, then do i just tape the ground on the harness? Or do i just reuse the ground on the harness to clip, im using the walbro 450
