Ok.. say you pull the balancer bolt out and then pull off the timing cover and you are not at cylinder 1 TDC (this is on a car where the balancer isn't "keyed"). Can I just put the balancer bolt back in without the balancer and then turn the engine over to get it back at TDC on cylinder 1 and then just throw a strap wrench over the end of the crank shaft (to hold it) and pull the bolt back out???
