This picture shows the drivers side brake and the ball joint and dust boot that covers the ball joint that is just to the right of the brake rotor. My question is this:
1. This particular boot is cracked and leaking grease on both my right and left brakes. The car is a 1993 CX, but I have GSR front brakes from a 94-00 JDM GSR. I am not sure if these boots are apart of the GSR brakes, or if they are the original CX brakes. I just need to know so I can order the correct boots.
2. How do I actually go about changing the boot? It appears that I need to take the pin out and unscrew the bolt holding the ball joint together. My Haynes manual (
) doesn't show any kind of procedure for switching out this boot. A small "how-to" would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

First off, pull cotter pin and remove nut. THen with puller or hammer method, remove ball joint. On top of the control arm, there should be a clip, and you will probably need a tool to press out the bolt/boot assembly. I'm not sure if you can do it with it on hte car. Last time I did one, the control arm was off hte car and I had access to a press.
