My crank pulley came loose once and caused some damage to the crank pulley keyway on the crank. Key was shredded. Even with a new key there is slight movement. How can I repair this without tearing it apart?
I was thinking about using some jb weld to weld the key in the keyway. Any ideas?

Tig weld and have it recut? Or just weld the pulley on? I assume the engine is assembled and in the car? Loctite works only with the absence of oxygen so it might work.

Yes motor is still sitting in the car. Guess the only way to fix it is pulling it out and getting it tig welded.
No I will not weld the pulley on. You gotta understand that with movement in the key way. Tdc does not line up. So like I said above guess the only option is to find a shop that will tig weld t and cut it back down.
