How To Remove VHT Paint From Engine/Head/Tranny?
Hey guys, hows it going? Thought I would ask if someone knows how to do this. I painted my block before and now I need to remove the paint from the tranny/head/block so I can try to clean it so it looks nice without paint or at least paint it better if I have to. I am unsure what will work well and what is safe for the aluminum. If someone could help me out I would really appreciate it. I used VHT 1500 degree aluminum paint also. Thank you in advance.

Comes in a spray can at autozone/pepboys (can't remember which) and it works well.

Yeah Ive used the stuff on a couple valve covers. But I do know the stuff is bad for aluminum, which i dont want to risk on my engine. Is there anything else/anything anyone has experienced similar to my scenario? And thank you guys for the responses.
helped a friend put a motor together that he painted. We used plenty of brake clean to in the process and got it all over the freshly painted block and the paint juss melted off the block.
you should give it a try
