Default How to remove the steering wheel, Nut

Im replacing the blinker switch colum. For the nut thats in the middle of the wheel, I just get a socket to put in there, and give in hell? Im kinda scared to break the steering colum.

*for a 89 crx si*

Any one did this before, or could help me out?

awww dont worry. just make sure that you lock the steering wheel so that you arent turning the steering wheel as you are trying to break the nut loose.

if you can get access to an impact gun that would be a piece of cake. if not just lock the steering wheel in place and use a 1/2 inch ratchet or whatever you have. when you get the nut loose you should just screw the nut on the threads a little bit and pull as hard as you can on the steering wheel because usually the steering wheel gets stuck on there pretty good. that way the nut stops the steering wheel from flying in your face.
