what is involved in removing immobilizer from a 2000 gsr ecu.

because there has been a huge surge in the amount of integra thefts recently. obviously, removing the immobilizer is a good way to steal a car.

i have a 2000 LS ECU that came out of my LS which i bought as a theft recovery. that is one reason why I might like to know how to remove or bypass the immobilizer so perhaps i can sell the ECU or maybe use as backup.

hey man Im having the same problem, doing a 2k gs-r swap in a 99 Hatch. I posted and apparently the locashracing can do it, or go to JDMshit.com they can do it too.

what is involved in removing immobilizer from a 2000 gsr ecu.
if you go to a near by car stereo shop that installs alarms, they have different types of bypasses for chip ign keys. if the shop you go to installs viper alarms, i think that the part number you need is either 555h or 555i. you may want to try that out before going to honda and paying them to unprogram it. may save you some money
