Anybody here know how to remove a broken bolt.
I installed a shift linkage for my ride and the part of the linkage
that bolts on to the tranny broke.

So the bolt is broken in there and I can't get it out!!! ahhh

help!
any advice would help

 

Drill a hole in the center of the bolt and use a "easy out" to back the screw out of the hole. They sell them at most hardware stores.

How big of a drill bit do i use?

 

just use a bit thats not bigger than the bolt

 

When you purchase the easy out it will tell you on the packaging what size drill bit to use.

 

use this tool you can pick this up at any local sears they also have a bolt extractor for stripped bolts. Both are great investments to keep
