i have the half shaft out of the car, and its got the universal on of the axel stuck on it, i have no idea how to get it off, i actually broke a pry bar trying to get it off... is there any trick i should know of ? or cut my losses and buy a different half shaft

i tried searching quickly but came up with nothing but ones for sale

 

i prefer to have it on the car still, makes it alittle easier to pry, i usually rotate it alil every time i pry and then hit it with a 5lb hammer
