i've come across someone who can sell me complete ls swap for a really good price...however its obd0 (1990 i think) to go into a 92 hatch; im not interested at this point in time to go into fi or ls/vtec setup so i would want to stay n/a for the time being...wot i really want to know is
1.wot hp/1/4mile figures can i expect from a n/a ls setup
2.good sites where i can ge this inofrmation from
I already have a JDM d15B in my car and i have already considered taking that one to the next level but im just wondering whether putting the ls in there is worth it...sorry about the long post

you mean what times will your hatch run with a stock ls motor with NO bolt ons?

Well I dunno if this will help, but my roomates friend ran a 14.2 in a stripped crx with a stock ls motor. I am gonna take a wild guess and say you'll run a low low 15 in a eg with interior.

 

if built can go really FAST...maybe low 13s but dont expect too much on a tight budget...

 

I should've made myself more clear i suppose...I will at least add
1. CAI, 4-2-1, high flow cat, 2.5" cat back
2. chipped ecu
3. koni yellows, rear sway bar, front strut bar
4. te37s+falken tyres
so wot hp would be expected from this setup and wot 1/4 mile time
i would look at internals later down the track so i want to hear from people who have built ls's as to their own results
Also, what is the factory specs of the b18a and b18b...thanks in advanced

 

maybe youll hit like 120 WHP with that, and I'd guess about a 15 mid time in 1/4 maybe 16...stock is 140 flywheelHP...

 

im gonna say lower 15's
