I'm ordering parts & tools for my engine build. I see that a 'box' of plastigage contains 12 strips. How long are these strips? Are they short like the journals or are they long and you cut them into small pieces?

Basically, how many boxes or strips do i need? I'm only building this one engine (b18c) but i want plenty of plastigage on hand to double check everything.


Any info is appreciated. thanks...

 

1 strip should be enough, 2 just in case.

only 2 strips?! so one box of 12 strips is like way more then enough?

good thing i asked before i ordered more plastigage then i could use in a lifetime.
