Default how much does hondata cost?

Im debating between hondata and kenji's ecu for NA b18c, but Im not sure exactly how much hondata would cost.

I know ill need a obd1 ecu + hondata module+ conversion harness+ tuning,

Im I missing anything else? How much would that add up to be?

it all depends on how far you're taking the swap. if the motor will be fully built with many one of a kind parts then definatly hondata. otherwise a chipped ECU will suffice

See the thread for a Stage 3B for the B18c. A friend of mine is selling it.

You could always just start off with a chip and work from there. Hondata is great, but hella expensive! I can do most of the tuning you can do on hondata with only a chip, without the fancy options (wish I had those though).

what kinda tuning w/ a chip? I heard most just dump a bunch of fuel and end up w/ horrible gas milage... btw, Im not really interested in hondata's fancy options, just looking for timing/air fuel/ vtec tuning.

Do some research on the costs. You can probably find an obd1 on ebay for 200-250. The harness will be another $200 and your looking at the s200 module for $295. I would also recommend datalogging option for another $200. You don't need all that other stuff, All that extra stuff is for your tuner not for you. And don't listen to others about a upgrading your stock chip. If you want engine reliability, especially on a turboed motor, and your motor to last as long as possible, make sure to get either hondata, aem, or even a piggy back like V-AFC.
