How much does it cost to replace transmission fork?
Well, it depends on the car, but Preludes / Accords require 6 hours to drop the tranny, Civics / Integras require about 5 hours. Add another 4 to take the tranny apart and put it back together...

you must be on dealership time.
Civics = 2.5 hours to Remove AND Reinstall tranny, another hour to replace a shifter fork.

yeah i did it before and iam trained and ****. don't listen to flat rate took me 4 and a 1/2 hours but i took like 7 breaks. and ate a hot dog hehe
**** i just rebuilt my friends 95 Si tranny the other day cuz he had been rolling with a DX tranny on his D16Z6 in his 92 VX forever. I pulled apart the Si tranny like 6 months ago and he was so lazy on ordering a bearing for the diff. it took until now. I guess he liked being able to go 82mph in second gear and having to put it in first just to go up a hill. Anyways when i pulled apart his Si tranny i noticed that the 1st-2nd fork was chipped so i figured that i would just use the DX's 1st-2nd fork when i pulled it apart since they are the exact same. Well it really sucked when i finally pulled the DX apart last Thursday cuz i opened up the casing to only figure out that the DX fork had cracked in the same place. Oh well i went and looked it up on Hondaautomotiveparts.com and they want like $45 the dealer wants like $60 so i said **** it and put the Si one back in since it was nice and clean. But that is to say you should probably be able to get them for around the same price. Oh and the Si tranny is so much nicer, only 60mph in second now.

no lift in sight, I did the tranny swap at Mid Ohio in the Paddock Garage.
Thankfully they have air compressors for each Paddock.
The swap was on Todd Reids Civ HB, 2:20 from time car hit the jack till it drove away under its own power.
Even used my ghetto tranny lift.......

bone is da man when it comes to tranny swaps! he did the swap in between run groups for me (I was instructing). he neglected to say that it was super cold that day, too, with no heat in the garages!

cold, wet, SNOWING!!!!!!!!
Todd came back in after instructing and asked if I need help in dropping the tranny.
He failed to realize that the "other" tranny was already in place.
BTW Todd, the issues that caused the double swap, I plan on making that tranny work. The Kaaz LSD is going in the second tranny, once the liquidfied shifter fork is replaced.
