jackson racing offers blowers for the k, they are a reputable company but i have heard some members on this board complain about customer service.

Opening some bottlenecks, but not gaining a whole whole lot. 300hp huh? I think you're starting with the wrong car. And especially without "going turbo/andor nos" you're not doing it wisely, effectively, or cheaply.

buy a piece of **** honda. turbo it. Like a piece of ***. Then once you got the experience, turbo your K series. It will come out to be the same prices no matter which way you go.

I have been looking into a supercharger for the past 2 years and if you want something that you can just start and drive and something thats not gonna need hella modifications, the Jackson Racing SC is the one to get.

I can conclude and say that although it is kinda pricey, its well worth it if you are kinda sceptical about a turbo setup. Although there customer service suck, their SCs DONT! I have talked to many people who own or owned one and NONE of them complained about having problems with them.

A pretty straight forward setup which is capable of handling up to 11PSI of boost safely. The best part about a SC is, you got boost right from the start - in other words, its linear boost - instead of a sudden kick like a turbo and oh yeah, you will not have to worry about turbo lag.

Now, if you want some SERIOUS power (not saying the SC will not be enough), go turbo, BUT remember a turbo needs more time tuning it and more maintainence too. Also, it might end up costing you cheaper with a turbo setup if you put one together, but if you mess up on the tuning (AF, Timing, etc.) - kaboom.

Just my 2 cents

you won't make 300hp with your 05 RSX, but you can get close to it. Sounds like you wanna stay NA eh?

Well then you'll have to swap out the block and go K24, ITB's, upgrade the cams & engine management, dyno tune and you'll be at about 260-70hp or so.

You'll definitely have to go turbo/nos/sc if you wanna be at 300whp though.

BS, iv been tuning hondas for 2 years now, im far from the best, and even farther from knowing everything, but i have hit a 300whp mark several times, with several diffrent honda motors as NA...

dude, first you wanna look at motor swaps like he said, ITB, ITR whatever your budget allows (either that, or better stock up on the ramen noodles) your looking at 210 FW power (this is what honda says... marketing) your really looking at about 190whp or close enough to if, give or take 5-10hp in either direction... after youve selected a motor swap, start attacking the internals, once again, a good place to start is exactly what he said, cams... this controls your HP, look into camshafts, do your homework on the diffrent profiles... understand what your doing though, bigger/longer profiles, greater lift means new valves, springs, and passing emissions is virtualy impossible with what most manufactures calls "stage 2 or higher" dont let some company sell you **** they "claim" is the best, DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK or youll end up fucked...

now look at your air intake, a throttle body, and CAI is only gonna give you so much right? so move on internaly, port and pollish, let your head breath eh? this willnot increase much HP directly, but open up more potential from existing mods, and future as well

if you wanna get into big all-motor power at this point look at shops willing to bore ya over... more gas + more fuel = more power (provided you know what your doing) this can and will increase tq and hp substantualy at almost all levels of the power-band

moving on, lets attack your computer... dont be cheap with this ****, b/c the phrase you get what you pay for really applys... if you spend 300 bucks on a venum400 your gonna get garbage, if you spend the cash (1k or more) on real EM then your gonna get real power, this i cant help you on too much, make sure if and when you have this done, you do your reaserch... id personaly go with either skunk2 or AEM simply b/c for a magor brand name, they do a shitload of actual reashearch and tests, they alsow offer a greater range of options to chose from.

ignition... enough said, but same rules apply, i can say iv had wonderfull luck with MSD's products, but you might prefure another brand! once again, do your homework!

this should get you started in the right direction, i could go on all day and get into deatail, but i think this will take you to the path your looking to travel, good luck, and dont let anyone discurage you dude! GOOD LUCK!
