Default how to lock rocker in VTEC with air compressor?

I'm trying to lock my engine into VTEC using my compressor plugged in the inspection hole on front of the head near the vtec solenoid.

I plugged the air relief hole, put 37psi in the compressor, but all I can hear is air flowing all around the camshafts. Is there another hole that needs to be blocked??

thanks

its a PR3 head on a b20b block btw....

Is there a reason why you don't just flip the pins around?

because engine is in the car and ready to go, I clayed it already on piston #1,but I want to manually spin the engine a few revs with vtec engaged all across the 4 pistons just for peace of mind

Its a b20b block with stock pistons and valve reliefs were notched for the bigger vtec intake valves... just want to mae sure its all good before I make it scream in vtec,,,,,,

If you clayed it, it's good to go. I'll tell you what a professional engine builder told me. "You built it correctly and checked all of your tolerances, right? Then stop being a ***** with it."

It looks like you are doing the steps correctly according to the helms manual.

Are any of the rockers locking? Maybe you have to turn the engne over once so all of the pins will have a chance to line up.

The manual also mentioned that if the pins do not lock that that set of rocker arms should be replaced as a set.
