ok well since im at work and bored to death cause we have no cars coming in today cause its raining in philly and i work at a lincoln dealership so old ppl dont come out in the rain.

ok dude this is one of the easy tasks on this motor.
im not going to go into detail that is what manuals are for but here you go.

1st you have to take the belts off alt, p/s, ect.
next you need a jack and a jackstand.
jack the motor up just so the jack is touching the motor. next take the drivers side mount out.
now you should have access to the front covers take them off which at this step you also need to take off the crank pulley (by hand good luck) you need a air gun for this.

with the crank pulley removed and the covers removed, this is how i do it and it works everytime put the crank bolt back in so you can turn the motor over remember honda motors turn in the opposit direction.

so with the bolt back in i like to take the spark plug out of cyl one and put the longest screw driver i have down the hole so when you rotate the motor the screw driver comes all the way up to the top and just before it starts to go back down you are at tdc (top dead center) this is the most important part of this whole thing make sure your motor is in time if not you will have problems.

when the screw driver is at its most highest point look at your cam pully and the inside crank pully (this is the one with all the teeth on it) you will see lines on them that line up with the top of the head and on the crank pully there will be a dot that you have to line up with a arrow on the oil pump once you have all of these marks lined up loosen the bolt on the tensioner and slide the belt off put the new one on and also if you got it which it is a very good idea to get, put the new tensioner and spring on. 1 thing to mention when you put the belt back on make sure you from the ethier the top of the cam and go to the left with the belt down around the crank and then up to the tensioner and water pump this is important cause if you dont put the belt on right you will go to tension the belt and it will be tight on one side and loose as hell on the other. next just reverse install your parts and you are done.
