Default how to identify an oil pan

how do you tell which is an ls, b16, or a gsr/type r oil pan?

the oil pick up on the ls and vtecs are diff cuz of the girdle so the bowl is deeper on the shallower side of the pan for vtec blocks

GSR/ITR both say P72 on the bottom by the drainbolt (they are the same). B16/LS do not say anything (all black) and are both the same. If it doesn't say P72 and fits the b series block it's an LS/b16

ya thats what i thought. i have seen oil pans with p72 stamped on them. i was not sure if the obd1 or earlier models have(or had) them or not
