I have a 98 civic coupe 2dr, with a 98 ls/b18b1, with short ram intake, and stage three clutch. Also an APEX'i N1 full cat back exhaust. AEM fuel regulator and AEM pulleys. With ls tranny and OBD2 ECU.

What my question is I would like to get 400HP or more out of this car even if it means a swap or not. But I only have 8 grand to spare what would be my best bet. I know turbo charged is a definite, but also i would like some engine work like internals or something. well all advice is greatly appreciated.

 

put 8000 down on a C6, then pay the monthly payments. They come with the 400hp LS2, no work needed.

 

That new gen 4 motor is sick. Can't wait to see what the ls7 z06 will be able to do. Should be in the ball park off 500hp.

 

Check out http://www.jgenginedynamics.com They have really good 500+ hp longblocks for around 6k. That is will full a full build, turbo, and tuned!! Cant beat that in my opinion as I already have 10 into my ls and it is still not running right. Check em out its worth getting it done right the first time.
