How far should i drive to get tunned?

How far should i drive to get tunned?
I'm getting ready to pull the head and do the following
BC4 cams
BC gears
BC valve train
BC head gasket
BC high comp valves
Portflow Pnp and 3 angle
and im just wondering how far i should drive to get it tunned? No more than 20, 30 miles? Never built a head like this before and i have never had a tune before so i just want to make sure i dnt mess anything up on the way to the tunner...im in socal so i dont have to go far to get it tunned but was jus wondering how far is the limit to drive if any?

i would break head by letting it iddle for a while then tow it to the tuners why drive it you are not tuned yet dont take the risk.
