Default how do you determine if jdm ecu is MT or AT

How can you tell if a jdm p30 ecu is automatic or manual? Yes I searched, and could not find the answer.

Default Re: how do you determine if jdm ecu is MT or AT (hyperdecalsdotcom)

bump... the reason I am asking is my buddy is getting a code 19, which means AT lock up, on his jdm b16a gen2 swap. it is a 5 spd, but he is not sure what the problem is. he is also getting an idle surge but assumes that is the iacv giving the problem. any ideas?
