i disconnect my idle contol motor and the engine goes up and down like mad and i turning the screw doesn't seem to affect it in any way.

i something wrong with my car or am i just retarded?

You also have to trip the service connector under the dash.....

 

yes the car is warmed up till the fan turns on

how do i trip the service connector??

I assume you have a teg....It's under the dash on the passenger side. Somtimes inside a green rubber things. Take a paper clip and stick it in the two holes of the connector. Like sticking a fork in a wall socket.
