Default how do i test my fuel pump ?

How do i test my fuel pump on my crx ? .. i know its a intank pump and don't wanan have to drop the tank ... is there any other way to test it with out dropping tank .. also where is my fuel filter ! its a 88 crx

2 Options:

1. Discontect the plug at the Main Rely and apply voltage to the fuel pump wires.

2. Remove access cover under the rear seat/interior and unplug the connector.
Look for the Black and Black/White wires. This will be the wires going to the fuel pump. You shoud be able to apply voltage across those wires and hear the pump kick on.

remove the rear seat and turn the car to the "on" position, should be able to hear the pump buzzing if you hold your ear close to the pump trap door. the fuel filter is on the firewall, above the charcoal canister. its a black round thing with a hard hose coming into it from the firewall. also, you can track the feed line from the fuel rail to the filter as well.
