How do I refinnish a jdm headlight
I picked up some 90 accord jdm 1 piece headlights.
1 headlight is in perfect condition and one headlights clear coat is fucked up.
The clear coat on the one is peeling off, so I sanded it down using 2000 grit and wet sanding for a few hours, then sprayed clear coat on it.
Now it looks even shittier. The lens looks foggy and feels gritty.
Any ideas on what to do?
I was thinking of sanding it down again, clear coating it, then buffing it, maby polishing it...

This may not work for you since you have stripped it, but I used toothpaste and scrubbed the hell out of mine, and they look brand new.
Well I don't know if this will work, but wet Sand off all the Clear Coat you put on it, and then you can get Some Meguiars clear plastic polish and polish it really good and if you have access to an orbital buffer it will really help out, then put some good wax over that and it should clear it up. I also do this, but I don't know if it will work since you have sanded on it, but just wash and wipe clean and then use a clay bar on it and it will be like new after this, and then seal it with a nice coat of Meguiars #26 HI-Tech yellow wax and it will look better than new.
Finland would be sweet, but I would ship myself so I could clime out of the box that I was shipped in and drink cheap Finnish beer, get really drunk and then talk on honda-tech.com smashed. Those Canadian boys are always drinking beer.
