Heard its not that bad. I think JDM version is overrated for the ungodly price. looks good on white or black only. Whats the best price u found?

Just go S2ki and look up Ricks' clear lenses, do it yourself for about $85 for the clear corners, looks better than JDM in my opinion.

Don't forget that the new '02 S2K JDM headlights have clear corners and CHROME housing which looks a LOT better than the USDM.

Normally i can't stand chrome as well, but those '02 JDM headlights is a shiny POLISHED/Chrome look and they STAND OUT a LOT! Looks much sharper and more aggressive IMO. But everyone has their preference. Both are good.

TOTAL COST: $11USD

TIME: 6hours

These are cleared US headlights. The extraction/modification/install spanned 6hrs. You'll need replacement bulbs for the turn signals and some silicone sealant. To extract the headlights you must remove the front bumper and the supports the headlights are mounted upon. Clearing the lights requires a screw driver and an oven set to 225F degrees. Its a hassle, but fortunately you only have to do it once if you do it right.

http://www.ricks2k.com sells a replacement diffuser that is clear. You may want to investigate purchasing this if you want the OEM look but clear. JDM headlights are configured to project higher on the left side and are a great way to **** off traffic and get pulled over for "fix-it" tickets. That and they run 900-1000 new!!! Some US owners have contacted JDM to trade headlight assemblies: folks in Japan want the US look because it is unique.

The JDM headlight housing range in price from $900-1000 and this price does not include the HID assembly. You will need to purchase JDM turn signal sockets because they are different in size. However I've heard that you can use the USDM sockets. I have the JDMs on my car and prefer the look of these vs. Rick's custom diffusers. I have however seen Rick's diffusers in person and must say that the quality is top notch.

On my gf's car we cleared out her USDM headlight housing just like Jerry has mentioned. The look is very unique and I must say for the price it is definately worth considering.

To answer your question- It will take you approximately 4 hours to install the JDM headlights. Just purchase a Helm's manual as it provides detailed instructions on taking off the front bumper and the headlight housing. Oh yeah don't forget about the JDM sockets and replacement bulbs.
